As a member of a 5-person team, I contributed to Zomderbar, an immersive FPS shooter with zombies and challenging boss fights. My primary role involved designing and programming exciting boss battles, requiring strategic thinking and skillful gameplay. I also played a significant part in crafting the captivating narrative, seamlessly integrating it into the gameplay. Additionally, I created visually stunning cinematic sequences that enhanced the game’s atmosphere. I added interactive elements to levels, such as utilizing boss zombies to destroy blockouts and encouraging strategic thinking. This project strengthened my teamwork skills and expertise in boss fight design, storytelling, and level design.

The Monster (In development)

As the developer of The Monster, a 2D Metroidvania game developed using C# in Unity; I have learned the importance of balancing gameplay mechanics and level design to create an engaging and challenging experience. The game follows a ninja on a quest to defeat a legendary monster that was sealed away by the best ninja of the past, who died in the process. The player must learn new fighting skills throughout the game and explore a magical cave to become the best ninja and defeat the monster. The game emphasizes the importance of skill development and strategic thinking in overcoming challenges while incorporating exploration and puzzle-solving elements to keep players engaged.

Insecticide

Insecticide is an exciting and immersive game inspired by retro classics, brought to life using the power of OpenGL and Gateware technology, developed by a four men team. Set in a vibrant and visually captivating world, the game puts you in the role of a valiant defender entrusted with the task of protecting your background from a horde of malevolent insects. Equipped with either one or two spaceships, depending on your preferred gameplay style (single or multiplayer), you embark on an intense and thrilling journey. Armed with water projectiles, you aim to annihilate the relentless enemy swarm and restore peace to your surroundings.
Insecticide delivers an immersive and nostalgic gaming experience, combining the charm of retro gameplay with modern graphics and technology.

Jason Wants To Play

Jason Wants to Play is a submission for the Friday 13th Game Jam, which only lasted 24 hours. It was my first game jam and a challenging experience developed on Unity2D using C#, where I learned to work on a really tight deadline. The game is about how Jason became the famous serial killer we all know. The game is a 2D top-down game following Jason’s journey from being a normal person to a serial killer. The game has a dark and eerie atmosphere that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The game is challenging and requires strategic thinking to overcome obstacles and enemies.

Forgotten Roots

Forgotten Roots is a 2D platformer game that transports the player to the ancient world of the pre-Hispanic era. The player takes on the role of a protector of his metaphoric roots, tasked with avoiding obstacles and traps within a pyramid. The game is developed by the team “Flaming Papayas” and combines action, adventure, and platforming elements to create an exciting and challenging experience for players.

As the player navigates through the levels of the pyramid, they must use their quick reflexes and problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles and defeat enemies. The player must also collect power-ups and other items to help them progress through the levels and reach their ultimate goal of protecting their roots. The game’s 2D graphics and smooth animations bring the pre-Hispanic world to life and immerse the player in the ancient setting.

A team of 5 people developed Forgotten Roots – 2 artists and three programmers – in Unity in one week for the Global Game Jam 2023 with the theme «ROOTS.» The game landed a third place on the global game jam 2023.

Her-o

Her-O is a 2D linear arcade-style game that puts players in the shoes of a girl hero as she embarks on a journey to rescue a boy from danger. Throughout development, I gained a deeper appreciation for the importance of crafting a compelling narrative, integrating cinematic elements such as cutscenes and dialogue, implementing immersive sound effects, and honing practical writing skills to create a memorable and engaging game experience.
