SportsVerse (Formerly MagicVerse)
Overview
In a whirlwind three-day period, our six-member team conceptualized and initiated the development of SportsVerse, formerly known as MagicVerse. Aimed at creating an inclusive sports metaverse where kids from around the world and with any type of disability can partake, SportsVerse won first place in the Orlando Magic Innovation Challenge 2023. While my talented team focused on market research, branding, and financial feasibility, I served as the Full-Stack Game Developer, bringing our collective vision to life.
Features
The game offers a rich virtual environment, simulating three iconic sports arenas: the Amway Center, the Solar Bears Arena, and the Orlando City Stadium. In the main city lobby, players can roam through a lifelike urban setting—complete with moving cars and dynamic lighting—before entering one of the three stadiums to engage in virtual basketball, hockey, or soccer games.
